I think the key word is "changed." AMAT has NOT provided any specific guidance for fiscal 98. Consequently, there is nothing to change! AMAT gives guidance for the full fiscal year in November and each subsequent Q CC refines the numbers. I listened carefully to the August CC and no specifics for 98 were given.

Bagley's comments are probably about as close to guidance from AMAT as you will find prior to AMAT's CC since he was previously COO at AMAT and probably has very similar knowledge and connections to the industry as Morgan.
