We've always been powerless...i have been powerless to stop a criminal war for example.

Typical revisionist. Obviously, neither of the wars which Bush fought were "criminal" -- hell, the Congress and the American people overwhelmingly supported both of them. You were powerless only in the sense that you were out of step with the American people.

You should not feel badly, however -- the two wars have greatly reduced the likelihood of a future terrorist attack against our country -- so much so that even a grossly negligent president like Obama has some flexibility as long as he doesn't go overboard (which I am concerned he is already doing).

That is the reason we are not alike at all.

Oh, we definitely don't think alike. You and most of the Left have a child-like inability to reason. I don't suffer from that ailment.

President Obama has proposed a budget that will DOUBLE the debt from 8 to 15 Trillion -- and that presumes a great economy which, at the same time, he is claiming WILL NOT HAPPEN. Meanwhile, he is foolishly proposing massive new spending programs that will effectively eliminate any chance of our economy getting back on solid footing, essentially bringing America down economically beyond the point of recovery.

I'm not sure that Obama isn't a Weapon of Mass Destruction sent by bin laden.
