Well, at the end of the day, we all want the US to succeed, right?

Isn't the road to hell paved with good intentions?

I also would like to see alternative energy supported. But I don't want it down "at all costs" in economic terms.

We just won't be able to compete in the global economy if our transportation and energy costs are more than our rivals.
