"Authoritarian Libertarian dictatorship" is a tautological oxymoron Lindy.

Democracy doesn't worry me too much because no matter what they vote for, it affects me less than it does them. If they vote to shoot everyone in the foot, which they do, I am normally able to avoid the shot or get far less damage than they do to themselves.

I saw an article by Anne Coulter and she is the first person [other than me] I've seen who has noticed that Barack's ancestors were likely to have been slave sellers.

It would be richly ironic if compensation for Negroes was agreed because some of them had slave ancestors and Obama got some compensation = not only has he had a charmed and favoured life, his ancestors did slave-selling, and he's rich and going to get richer and is the pre-eminent power person on the planet and needs no "leg up.

When drugs are no long "cool" then demand for them will revert to normal levels. A couple of years ago in the Melbourne public library I was reading lists of 19th century products which included tobacco, whisky, opium .... Opium, cocaine, marijuana etc were just products people might or might not consume. At the time, booze was considered a serious problem but those other things were not. Booze makes some people aggressive, violent and generally dangerously incompetent. Dope makes them dopey. Opium just makes them float around.

The harm from the war on drugs is large and it encourages consumption for the cool factor = humans being bloody-minded and doing the opposite of what their bosses tell them to do is cool.

And all of this occurs in a year when the mainstream media is agog with their discovery that a black man can be elected president in America! By being elected president, Obama overcame the massive racial hatred that existed only in liberal imaginations.

I don't know a single conservative who thought America wouldn't elect a black man.

If Republicans had run Colin Powell in 1996 — back when he was a Republican — he would have been the first black president. As Powell himself said, he received the strongest support from Southern white men, who admired his military background.

The first serious black candidate to run for president in America won, so blacks are one-for-one in a country liberals would have us believe is teeming with Ku Klux Klanners.

Throughout Obama's entire life, doors were opened for him, his college applications smiled upon and favors bestowed simply because he is black — the original victim category in America. Being black is the highest victim caste because of blacks' authentic victimhood: The nation once tolerated slavery and Jim Crow.

But ironically, Obama's father is from Africa: He never suffered from the ancient policies that, today, give his son Victim Gold. To the contrary, if Obama's African relatives had anything to do with slavery, it was on the business end.
