Americans suffer from American Idol Syndrome. Obama is their rock star. His fans idolize Obama in the same manner that they idolize bad, untalented singers, actors and other performers. Republicans need to mount a creditable comeback in the elections of 2010, and shut down Obama's damaging, reckless power. Sadly, in my opinion, the Republican Party, while less damaging to our country, is not much better than the Democrat Party. They are both run by incompetent, incapable ideologues.
