It seems rather simple to me. Both parties are full of incompetent fools. Bush's and the Republican congress's ties to conservative values were quite limited. Definitely not conservative with government spending or fiscal responsibility. Simple in that the government should have prevented overleveraging of this magnitude. Simple in the American public has the government that represents its average fiscal sense and maturity. The public better wisen up and realize that there are only so many rich people to skin alive and when that is done the problem has not changed. We must live within our means. I dont trust the democrats or the republicans to do this yet. If the Republicans can get their act together Obama may be providing them a perfect set up.
