When money is the life's blood of politics, it's got to be hard to vote against lobby money, and if lobby money is against regulation, it's going to be hard for anyone (rep or dem) to support serious reform. Thought Michael apparently thinks it's all the liberals fault, the root of the problem is that our government- left, right and center- is for sale to the highest bidder. I think most of us here know that, but we don't know what to do about it.
