I am not sure we need bigger government or much more regulations.

Better leadership within the government and more effective management before adding more people and more regs.

It seems Greenspan could have prevented much of this with his leadership.

Blaming it all on Bush's leadership of not wanting to enforce regulations seems a stretch to me. But who knows maybe no one in government felt they would have been recognized for catching a crook. Then one has to wonder why? Maybe because they are so corrupt to begin with, you know with all the money sloshing around it becomes difficult to tell wrong from right.

Which legislators financier scum bag do you prosecute.?

Isnt the out of power party supposed to catch these types of things to make the in power party look bad? How about when both parties are on the hook so bad they cant screw each other on certain things?
