Look at it this way, Al. i-node is a pretty accurate model of what is going on in the conservative movement today. he spouts the current topics and reflects the major viewpoints. He is getting more and more shrill because he can see how his side is losing out, big time.

Really? We now have a nuclear iran, no longer checked by a hostile sunni ruler in iraq Yes, you guys are all really confused about the Sunni/Shiite thing. They ALL hate America and when it comes down to it they are brothers in the jihad. One need only look at al Turabi in Sudan, the funding that occurred while AQ was based there, and the fact that Iran, Zawahiri, and (to a lesser extent) bin Laden have all cited Israel's existence as a reason for their hatred. Saddam was no check on on Iran, you fool.
