Can you imagine the nightmare if we had privatized SS, in this market?

I would far rather have had the money I've paid in to SS "privatized" and taken whatever losses I MAY have incurred than to have it put into that $51 Trillion Pile of worthless debt that IS Social Security.

You've never understood this. Social Security is broke and has been for years. Let's not go there. You don't understand the basics of accrual accounting, never have, never will.

BTW, there was never any attempt to "privatize" SS. The effort was to privatize a small portion of it.

"You think people are pissed at the banks now; there would have been a different kind of 'run on the banks', with weapons."

No kidding.
