"The wingers make mistake after mistake after mistake. Its astounding how they can be wrong so consistently. What are the odds?!!!" it is what happens when you put ideology ahead of everything else. It doesn't matter if it works or not, it just matters that it is ideologically consistent. So things don't get evaluated on whether or not the idea is sound or has a chance of working. When effectiveness is no longer a criteria, it is hard to be successful.
