We played with them all the time when visiting my grandfather when I was 6 on up. Great fun. I actually did know a kid in HS who lost an eye to one though. But this life thing is kind of dangerous and sometimes you get hurt whether big brother is watching or not. I really feel for todays kids.

I wouldn't have survived. We had playground equipment you could get seriously hurt on. We played dodgeball and king of the hill in the winter and mauled each other. Tackle football. Crack the whip while ice skating. None of which is allowed today. Sad.

i'm like oral....when i was a kid we used to play jarts all the time....my dad kicked everyone's ass and never held back to 'let the kid win' (he was the same in ping pong)....that means if you ever won, you really felt accomplished<vbg>

i'll have to teach you the wine jart game some time in the future....
