It may explain why we are a nation of pussies. I say this because we line up to get ourselves shot today instead of protecting our own lives. I guess I can understand the Amish girls as they've been trained since birth that fighting back for any reason is wrong. I can't abide by that thinking but it is what it is. But the college students who hid under their desks waiting for the madman to walk from desk to desk shooting them in the head I just can't get my mind around. My generation and all of the generations proceeding, he may have gotten some of us but he would not walk the school for 40 minutes shooting people. We see it with our police also. They huddle outside the school pissing on themselves while for 40 minutes this kid shoots people. They have all the latest military gear and protective equipment and they just can't act. First cop on the scene 40 years ago goes flying through the door ready to do battle in his short sleeve shirt and .38 service revolver. Civilians would react on their own to put an end to this mischief. Ah, the good ole days.
