TREND TOWARD MR (Magneto Resistive) HEADS. WHO WINS?

Hi everyone, I was wondering whether the suppliers of measuring and trimming equipment for MR heads will profit substantially from the change over to MR heads. Specifically I have been investigating the equipment of JMAR Industries (JMAR) that appears to have some of the best equipment to suit these needs. Since JMAR is a relatively small company, I was wondering what type of revenues they could expect.

Here are two releases by the company that explain their position in the MR field. Seems like the place to be. Any opinions?

***from the JMAR page
The Mirage , a high-precision optical-based tabletop measurement system, was introduced to the microelectronics industry in 1996 by JMAR's Pacific Precision Laboratories (PPL) division specifically for small parts measurement and manufacturing process control. FEI will package the Mirage units with its focused ion beam work stations to provide computer disk drive manufacturers with the ability to trim magneto-resistive (MR) and other read/write disk drive heads to sub-micron tolerances.

The Mirage units will generate the critical program instructions that guide the high precision ion beam trimming process. This higher level of precision enables manufacturers to significantly improve overall "head" performance while improving manufacturing efficiencies. MR heads represent one of the fastest growing segments of the computer components market.
