Nor should they forget----Pelosi appears to me to be attempting to usurp the role of the Pope and Church.

I find it strange that she could not meet as the Speaker of the House with the Pope without the presence of her husband. If meeting officially with the Pope as a representative of the Congress, he does not belong in the meeting.

If she was meeting as a private citizen and member of the Catholic faith then seems to me such a private meeting would be confidential and not for public publication.

And, there she is lobbying the Pope on global warming----does the church have an opinion on Global Warming?

Appears she was using her meeting with the Pope to use her political power while at the same time challenging the historical positions of the Catholic Church --hopefully the Pope saw through her machinations.

Will keep this article for future reference.
