Barney is not blameless at all, but the bigger blame by far.......... was Wall Street selling what they knew was crap that was put together by intentionally dishonest mortgage brokers and passed along by banks eager for exhorbitant fees, while knowing they wouldn't be holding onto the crap, and the cherry AAA rating put on top by corrupt rating agencies..........well, you get the picture.

Also make a note. Barney couldn't be chairman "the last 5 + years." His party has been majority party only the last 2 + years.

You must not have heard Martin Wolf yesterday on Fareed Zakaria GPS. You have it all wrong. Obama has to give US citizens lots of money right now in order to pump prime American consumption which makes the rest of the world go round. Very simple. But hard to grasp if you think give-a-ways are sinful.

Oh, come on.

As some others have correctly chided you for, Dems have only controlled the houses for 2 years now. There's lots of blame to spread around on both sides of the aisle, including that darling of the brain dead right, Ronald Reagan,

Supply side economics is a crock, voodoo economics at best, and the price is now being paid for the explosion of debt which began under him. And no bid contracts to Haliburton for Iraq support? Money passed out like lollipops all over the place to friends and insiders. Abrahamof, etc., etc. Government for sale. Screw the poor.

Republicans are just plain nasty greed heads. Democrats not quite as nasty, LOL.
