You are right about Perot's effect on the election. But there wasn't that much daylight between Clinton and Bush. The way I see it Ronald Reagan handed the guy a road map and he couldn't follow it. Third parties are successful at times of crisis and this is one of them. What good is a Philosophy of Government which is ignored when the party takes power. I will never believe the Republicans again and the Dems are getting crazier by the minute. Only hope is third party and the sooner the better. lj
