Peter, I don't think those statistics even include the "private" schools.

I think it's all based on public school performance.

I AGREE with you about Obama. I was kinda shocked to hear he wasn't sending his kids to a "public" school. It seems very hypocritical to say we should keep pumping more money into the public schools but not want to send your kids to them.

BUT, I think Jimmy Carter may have been the last President to send his kid to a public school and I don't think he EVER got much credit for it, so why put your kids through the torture if you don't have to..LOL
