Off topic - What did Louis say on WSW that was so discouraging? Did his panelests say anything about techs or small caps?

Best - Joe

I studied this stock but held off buying but have been following the thread. Some of the comment yesterday about the SEMICAPS make me think it is too early to go in. As I recall Asia is over 50% of the market for Fab equipment. Their overcapacity puts pressure on US companies. The 300 mill wafer/chip fabs are many years out. I think the key may be to watch the BTB in the industry .There may be lower prices still ahead which IMO could be 15-20% especially if BTB is <1. Actually one of Joes stock, MASK seems like a better deal. It is my understanding that the Mask makers are in a different supply/demand scenario but seem to be being treated with the same broad brush.

Kent, on Friday I heard a couple different analysts say that the techs are now over sold and that it may be a good time to get back in. Me, I am not sure quite yet if it is time to get back in or not. I did sell all of my equipment shares execept my FSI shares, before the real downfall.

FSI is definately looking real attractive at this level. However, so are some of the powerhouses like AMAT and KLAC. Monday should be quite interesting. I personally think that they can go down farther.
With the end of the year coming and mutual fund managers needing to lock in gains to look attractive, I think we could continue to see a selloff in all sectors.

I will be watching very anxiously on Monday.
