If the economy were "running itself" John we wouldn't need the Treasury Department, The Commerce Department the Justice Department and on and on.

I thought after the 2006 election everything was going to be wonderful, because Democrats regained control of Congress? They controlled the purse strings, committees and so forth.

How's that worked out for the country John?

I suspect we're in for an awful next 4 years, as Democrats in Congress and the Administration spend money like they're on crack cocaine and just walked into a water tower filled with it.

Now it's time for some cod liver oil.

Where's the cod liver oil? Seems to me the budget is ....party on. Cod liver oil to me would be for us all to tighten our belts a bunch.
