My previous post to Joan Graffius on Aug 23/97 stated that I think MSFT will be a long time before $150. Still believe that statement is true. I base my thoughts on fundamentals, therefore this thread moves way too fast for me. However, for Monday and beyond I believe that we will continue to see gradual lowering of stock prices (although underlying values of companies are unchanged - P/E and such ratios are just too high on expectation of unrealistic growth in a competitive world). Do you foresee becoming more interested in TA or should traditional thinkers stay on the sidelines.

I think I'm beginning to like being a stock market guru. I keep
getting asked opinions on things I know nothing about. This,
of course, doesn't stop me from answering. Check out a calculation
I just posted over on the Burke thread of the market share for
Xilinx in the future. It's a technique useful for growth stocks
that are showing slowing growth. Essentially the simplest
DE (differential equation) that doesn't imitate a tree growing
to outer space (i.e. dS/dt = kS).
