'Northern Gold rights to trade for cash Feb. 27

2009-02-24 16:22 EST - Rights Expire

Effective at the opening, Feb. 27, 2009, the rights of the company will trade for cash. The rights expire March 3, 2009, and will therefore be delisted at the close of business, March 3, 2009.

Trade dates:

Feb. 27, 2009, to settle March 2, 2009;
March 2, 2009, to settle March 3, 2009;
March 3, 2009, to settle March 3, 2009.'

Looks like they expired forty-six minutes ago ... not many traded anyway, and the most they went for was a penny ... i wonder what is the cost to a company to do a rights issue nowadays, it used to be prohibitive, it's a good idea imho if it doesn't cost the earth ... although, this way you don't get borker wts into promotional hands that give you a nice pump start ... not that those hands have done anything but dump paper for a couple of years, but they could, lol
