<<Are you saying you didn't see the Mac OS 8 ads? They were in the Bay Area papers and in the Mac magazines, etc.. Very product specific with lists of features, etc.>>

My mistake in clarification. In Santa Clara Valley, EVERYTHING gets some kind of exposure. I refer to television as the most powerful medium and I don't recall seeing OS8 ads there. Not that they weren't or aren't but I know what IBM's ads are, what MSFT's ads are and what INTC's ads are but I don't remember anything memorable on TV for OS8.
However, as you probably have gathered their newest ad campaign did make an impression on me! LOL!

<<PS--I see you're on the GTIS thread. Ever consider THQI as your videogame maker play? The company is exploding, mostly due to a low PE and emergence into the PC and next gen markets.>>

Unfortunately, I was trapped in GT's big bombing last year and as I wasn't that heavily invested I have just hung in with it for the fun of it. If GT can ever appreciate sizably I would definately enjoy trying another company. THQI, from what I have just perused is behind many of the Disney titles and that's a big plus. I appreciate you reccommending them. I review games for a mag and those titles pop up occassionally in my research (if you can call it that) but never really paid much attention to the marketing dynamics of them. If nothing else, game companies at least provide an entertaining venue to analyze. GT especially is becoming an interestingly dynamic company but I am not so sure I would give them a thumbs up just yet. My feeling is that they are one step away from greatness. This statement would take too much explanation so I won't go into it.
