Maybe partly, but it had a lot to do with the fact Paulson was ex-GS and Lehman didn't owe GS much if anything ... AIG owed GS 20-25 billions and that's where a good chuck of the first bailout cash went ... Lehman wasn't too popular with the in-crowd as they'd declined to participate in one or more backroom dealings in the past ... but in re commodities, Coxe may be onto something in his musings on the 13th of July Massacre

Geithner is ex-GS too, also Carney of our Bank/Banque, small world huh ... i might get a heli ride in the morning, but looks like too cloudy so maybe later in the week ... have a good party ... we threw a big fiftieth for a forester friend once, gave him a t-shirt that said 50 isn't old if you're a tree

<<.I'll guess thats why the fed didn't bail them out cause it was tied too commodities>>
Yeah, Don Coxe even has a date when everything reversed hard, and it was when NA markets were closed.
He intends that this was intentional.

You need a blackberry :) Or perhaps you enjoy the time away from quotes and corruption.
