AIG gets another $30B to keep them going for another month or two. That's what now, $210B for one company? Their management must have done a real good job to warrant that kind of coin from the American people with almost no strings attached. That's $1.81 MILLION for each and every employee.

Meanwhile GM and Chrysler are sputtering on with the $17 billion they got last year.

Speaks volumes about our incredibly corrupt government.

edit: It's so preposterous that I had to do the math 5 more times. I MUST have made a math mistake. $210x10^9/116,000 employees is how much per employee?

I have also heard that AIG insures the congressional pensions. Probably just a coincidence.
