John - I believe my history of posting here and thousands of posts on SI since 1996 with one ban, speaks to my ability to have civil discourse of all kinds. The fact that you felt the need to post this attack toward my motivation, insinuating I'm trying to get kicked off the thread, speaks to your attempt at creating the atmosphere which makes that probable. It appears to be some kind of call for action, hoping others would chime in. My posts have been directed toward ideas and public policy. And they've been serious and thoughtful. I realize you don't agree with them, but that's what discourse is all about. If they significantly bother you, I suggest you put me on ignore. It looks like on that score, we have about an equal following. My motivation to post, should not be something you dwell on.
