General comment on this article. I see a lot of them like this lately.
The US has not been totally de-capitalized. That's absurd. The gloom spread in this article is based mainly on trying to play to emotion. While I admit that some of what he presents is going on, the US still does produce things, mines stuff, works jobs, creates new technolgy, and fabs things. Its just those in the ivory towers writing these articles don't see it or don't want to see it because it doesn't fit there agenda . The US is going down this road the article speaks of, but is no where near there yet. There is still hope.

The gold bug dooomers are really out stretching the gloom these days because gold price stubbornly refuses to cooperate with the currency of last resort, world coming to an end theory. Gold should be at $5,000 an oz. by now, right?
