Neal:

This is not a dogmatic issue. I see folks on TV crying foul over tax increases. Haven't we tried tax cuts all these years and ended up with a deficit. Instead, this President (not a Democrat of a Republican), our President is proposing we take the tax rates back to the years of our former President Clinton so that we can bring back the prosperity that we had then.

Furthermore, I do read blogs but I never do post from the blogs because they are partisan mouthpieces mostly run by those who cannot write their articles in newspapers for which people would pay to read.

Finally we have a President who is savvy, is world class material (we have to wait to see that when he travels overseas), and we do not have a principled opposition the type which we had in the likes of Sen. Towers, Bob Dole etc. Instead, we have a partisan opposition. Sad day for American democracy.
