I like it, especially the point made that it wil provide the cash flow to expedite the development of New Afton. New Afton has good copper leverage, and that's the flavour of the day !

Of course I don't like seeing NGD down, which is typical in a merger like this. The people involved in this enterprise--at least some of them--have experience and success in building up important and valuable companies. This converts NGD into a longer term hold from a shorter-term speculation, I think.

Peter Schiff was just on BNN calling for the USD bubble to burst and advocating Canadian shares especially commodities.

on NGD.....here's the part I like even though I took it out of context

..."pursuant to which New Gold will acquire by way of a plan of arrangement all of the outstanding common shares of Western Goldfields in exchange for one New Gold common share"......
