Why would Air America try to duplicate the success of Rush Limbaugh, for instance? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.

Air America was set up to compete with rightwing talk radio, to provide an active voice for liberals and to disseminate info that was important to liberals. However, the blogs have been far, far more successful and provide a very effective way of keeping winger spin/lies to a minimum.
