Board, well things worked out well. They took out the appendix and some intestines. It seems the appendix has a tube that drains into the intestine, but my wife's appendix didn't have an opening, so it couldn't drain, it just kept swelling and that caused the large bulge going into the intestine. (why didn't it rupture long ago ???). Doc said it didn't look cancerous, they are testing it. He said there is a rare form of cancer which they think comes from the mucus made by the appendix and sometimes when the appendix ruptures it spreads this though out the intestine, but he said he cut it all out without any leakage.

He thank me for letting him work on my wife since he has never seen an appendix without this opening. Probably write a book and go on a lecture tour.

Any docs out there?

Thks for the prayers
