Yes, it is still my biggest holding. Sometimes one can only be in a state of complete disbelief at the valuation given by the market to a financially safe, well hedged, reputable "blue chip" outfit.

At base, I suppose, all oil and gas firms are plays on energy prices. There must be more investors who expect oil to go to $20, than to $60.

It is a candidate for a margin purchase - if one can borrow at around 5% and get a tax deduction, and receive better than 25% (taxable), how silly is that?

It's holding up pretty well given it got one, maybe two downgrades this morning.

I bought some PWT-un.TO today as well. First time buyer of this stock but I like the numbers. This "bottoming oil market" should be about as bad as it gets for Penn West.
