These guys had their moment after 9/11. 9/11 was almost a dream come true for the wild eyed right. I know we have differences on this but I think we can agree that whats happening now is that americans are trading in their terrorist paranoia (i believe there is reason for concern) for economic armeggadon paranoia. When that happens country moves left because only govt (as imperfect as it is) is left to prevent catastrophe--not invisible hands or wallstreet ponzi dudes or geniuses like greenspan and paulson.
