Well, Japan kept growing and growing and growing... until
it outgrew US. So did South Korea. I agree with you, governments
are an issue, but, perhaps, the only issue. It is THE issue in
Zimbabwe, and in China as well to a great degree, unfortunately.
Eastern Europe? Perhaps not, at least by far not in every
country. In former Soviet Union it there is great variation,
sometimes you get this -g-
