I'm AMAZED at a lot of otherwise very bright people, many more accomplished and brighter than I, and many richer. They sit there day after day like sheep in their 401Ks and IRAs, lamenting how things are getting "really scary" (I'm retired, as are many in my community). They believe the garbage "It always comes back" (yes, maybe, but maybe not in my or their lifetime). And in the endless hype from Wall Street, you almost never hear anyone say: "Fuck the market, it's going much lower, get out while you can to preserve what you have left, be content with FDIC insured money market or bank CD rates." Be content with compound interest, which, after all is said and done, is exponential...why play in a crooked, rigged game where the odds are really stacked against you? Hope your answer isn't like my cousin's: "Because it's the only game in town". It isn't...
