I creep down the stairs at break of day while my family sleeps. The coffee pot, which I cleverly readied the night before so that I can hold a mug under it for a quick first fix, continues to perk as I tiptoe to the study and get ready for my favorite weekend occupation-computering without quotes, without Briefing.com, without news of missed earnings to weep over. I begin to read DAR. With excitement, I see that Drygulch Dan has returned and he has left a URL--a stock tip perhaps? ...
Suddenly I scream-the cat leaps off the chair next to me terrified that I have discovered the mouse head he so cleverly hid behind the bookcase. CW falls out of bed, I hear him hit the floor overhead and curse. Ammo -well-Ammo sleeps through everything, but said later that he dreamed of banshees. No woman, this early in the morning, should have to be suddenly confronted by a large picture of herself holding her nose, mouth agape, and eating durian. I ran from the room in horror, and have only now returned, eyes averted, to move on to another post.

Actually, I did wake everyone up laughing. Very, very, funny, Michael, dear. Don't turn your back.
