They just figured out how to copy that feature from Apple of naming files greater that 8 characters.. Where did Steve Jobs get his idea for the Mac? I know it was Xeroc PARC, so if you accuse Microsoft of being a thief, so was Apple, for XEROX was the ones who had A) the MOUSE B) the GUI C) E-Mail D) Ehternet E) Graphical Printing and LASER Printers F) Just about everything that everyone else stole from them that has changed the Computing industry Look at the people and companys that rose out of XEROX PARC, 3com, Adobe, Metcalfe, they knew what they had WAY back in the 60's but did not want to cannibalize their own product, so Steve Jobs sees it and STEALS their technology, and Bill Gates, does the same to him, don't try and make Apple out to be heroes, they did the same things tha Microsoft does today.
