I agree, however I don't see this Government just giving up and saying, OK, we are just going to cede our economic monetary power (and the root of all of our power) without a fight. Power is too dear to them and they've had it and have been increasing it for soooooo long. The question I have is, what are their tools to attempt to fight this? What will they do? How far will they go? Can they manufacture or claim National Security is at Stake and try to force the dollar as the reserve currency? What are the viable threats they can make?

I also wanted to talk about, whether, other than hating the U.S., would a country switch from the dollar to another currency. Since the downturn is global, all fiat currencies in debtor countries which is most of Europe and the America's, are in trouble, so I don't see a switch to the Euro. The Russian currency as always been too unstable. How about the Yuan, Chinese?
