"They decided Limbaugh was the liberals' favorite bashing target, and that they'd go after him." Not quite. They noticed the negatives that Limbaugh has. He turns off everyone but his base. That, plus the way when a high ranking Republican is less than complimentary to Rush, he chastises them on air and they immediately fall on their knees begging for forgiveness. The amazing thing is how the Republicans are suckering for it.
