"They think Rush is universally hated so they want to make him the head of the party" Actually, he is widely disliked. His negatives are very high except amongst his base. Which is what makes this brilliant. Rush isn't going to fight it, he loves the idea. And it strengthens him with his base. But, it harms the party because Rush only appeals to the 13 or so million listeners he has. But, whatever. It has been explained to you. If you choose to ignore it, well, good luck. Actually, you will need something along the lines of divine intervention, but...
