"Actually, I've had a hunch for a while, but it's never really been called out until now"

Whatever. I know I have been talking about it for at least a week.

"Brilliant in the fact that Rush will end up with the last laugh."

How so?

"Rush is thinking about the future (or more specifically HIS future)."

Precisely. And his future has little to do with the Republican party. If he is the de facto head of it, well, so much the better. For him. But it guarantees the party becomes, at best, a regional one.

Rush doesn't play well to anyone outside of his base of 13 some odd million. That doesn't win elections given that they are scattered across the whole country.

But, whatever. As I told i-node, it has been explained. If you chose to ignore it, well...

What, you think the Democrats are going to prove Rush wrong in the next four years? They're thinking about today; Rush is thinking about the future (or more specifically HIS future).

You do know that a poll was done last fall, and people disliked Rush more than they disliked W. Ayers and Rev. Wright. I think Rush's negative rating was a whopping 58%. He's a slug for most of America.

Rush and the (D)'s will prosper, the (R)'s can only lose more mindshare..
