I will take your word. It simply seemed that if the blood thickened from excess RBC, Hextend could dilute it, but that would not eliminate the necessity for reducing blood bulk. No big gain. You have my envy. I fished the Chesapeake during the years when hardheads abounded, and the still later years when stripers were plentiful. Here in Texas, the hugh ranches own all the waterfront. But for years I kept a codo (can you believe 290 miles from my home in San Antonio) down near Brownsville where I could get out into the laguna and on out into the Gulf. Lots of sea trout and reds. Since retirement, have made a couple of trips to Alaska. You cannot believe the fishing there. I think there are lakes that have never had a hook dropped in them! Of course, the Salmon fishing is a little like going to a bull fight. Don't really see the sport there.
