I think its very likely Iraq holds larger reserves than SA. Their claim to is quite believable. Take a look at the whole Tigris/Eurphrates/Persian Gulf sedimentary basin. A lot of it is in Iraq. And Iraq because of Saddam's bleeding of its industry and adventures has made Iraq under-developed. They have known fields that are undeveloped/underdeveloped. Iraq's reserve number on wikipedia is out of date.
