OTOH, it would be nice to "store" books you only occasionally will reference or re-read, on electronic medium rather than tons of dusty bookshelves.

A friend of mine who is about to go on a major book tour for his new book, said he saw a Kindle for the first time on the plane, the passenger next to him. Have you seen one?

Just on Amazon's website. I'd like it because I am allergic to dustmites and books have tons of dustmites.

I saw one on a plane last week, it's a lot more compact than I thought it would be. Caused serious gadget lust but it's too expensive.
