How is that possible in a country with a first amendment? Easy. Put words into the mouths of your opponents, play up stereotypes, call them racists, sexists, hypocrites, and any other ad hominem attack you can think of. Get people to stop listening to the opposition. "Silence" them ... And call their leader a slug. You may be on to something. But wait.......Rush is a slug. Never mind.
