I also believe that he is going to set back any benefits that we would have had by electing a black president.

I was at the Venetian in LV on election night. As it became apparent that he was our guy a commentator came on saying what a great day for race relations this was. A guy in the lounge said this is a disaster for race relations and he will set the clock back 50 years. I found that curious so I asked him how he figured. He said if this guy is half the disaster I think he is he will be a one termer. May not even be the nominee in 12. Blacks will vote for him no matter what but others are going to use their heads and jump ship which the blacks will see as racism and he said it will get ugly.

Not sure about that but it is kind of an interesting thought.

I wasn't calling YOU a "dumbo."<g>

I think many people really wished that Obama could be what he pretended to be---a beacon, a fresh start, etc. Redemption from any lingering racism.

But why did we need redemption? Despite the fact that there are undoubtedly individuals around the country who haven't evolved, we as a nation have thrown off the inequity of racism. It's been an ongoing process since the 1960's.

The people who are keeping racism alive are those in the victim industry, like Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and yes, Barack Obama.

These folks need victims as stepping stones to their goals.
And not because doors are otherwise closed to them due to race, but because they could never hope to attain similar power without a constituency of victims. It's convenient to use color as the sign of victimhood.

Obama has added in the irresponsible who purchased houses they could not afford.

And he's making the other 92 % of us pay reparations so that he can stay in power.

It's an ugly world.
