I just spoke to two groups of bankers. There is virtually nothing in the Obama real estate plan to help anyone. The plan is nothing. IT WILL NOT PUT A DENT IN STOPPING THE DOWNWARD SLIDE IN THE REAL ESTATE MARKET!

In fact, many of the new regulations makes things harder for new buyers! No refinancing at all for people who are at or near being underwater, or struggling with payments and no first and second combinations without getting providers to go along with it and their is no incentive.

I cannot figure out what Obama is doing? Even the $8,000 tax credit is only for new home buyers.

And all decisions for loan modifications is being left to the service providers who have no motivation to do anything but take their money and invest it in T bills.

Bankers are telling me they are getting a million phone calls from people about Obama's new program and there is nothing!

I am just flabbergasted!!
