I'm also hearing middle class whites, asking why he's going after them, singling them out....especially after they voted for him. It's be funny if i wasn't watching my IRA fall off a cliff.

I've started reminding my liberal friends and family that they're the ones who set this up by voting for him. I was talking with a businessman client the other day who was lamenting the bad economy and stock market and I couldn't resist chiming in, "but your guy won! Things are supposed to be just peachy now."

They're incompetent. It's scaring the hell out of Wall Street. I'm hearing it from friends in the financial sector. Been going on for two weeks now. And they voted for him.

Mere incompetence wouldn't have this effect. It's the unholy combo of incompetence and grand plans for New Deal II, which address all the liberals unfulfilled wishes of the last 30 years but NOT the credit crisis...
