"This wouldn't be happening if people KNEW that it was liberal socialist marxist polies that created the subprime credit implosion taking down Fannie, Freddie and AIG, Lehman, Merrill Lynch etc." __________________-- That is a simple answer to a complex problem but, if the republicans believe it to be true, somebody over there needs to explain it to the American People in a reasoned, non-screaming, logical way....with a path to a better way. That hasn't happened yet. And remember that those "liberal socialist marxist policies" were tolerated by the republicans when they had control of EVERYTHING from 2000 to 2006. They had the votes to change anything they wanted, or to point out the travesty of the policies if a filibuster had been threatened. The republicans today still suffer from the credibility problems created during that period. Right now Obama is beating them like a drum in the public opinion wars while the republicans eat each other alive.
