<Like I keep saying $10 is a safe bet... ......Martin's call of $34 per share is much more realistic>

Darlene

Hi Darlene,

Now, these figures you mention above would certainly pose a delicious dilemma for me, since I bought into BCMD at the last minute on Friday at 1 3/16, patting myself on the back for being ever so crafty for finding another short term wonder that could bring in 3x or maybe even 4x in time for a little jaunt to the South Seas just before Christmas.

That's the problem with threads like this: inevitably, I run into people like you who have done their research, know the sector, share actual experience as opposed to wishful thinking and present themselves and their decisions with intelligence and maturity.

If I decide to go long on this stock and possibly miss my South Seas jaunt, I shall probably hold you and Martin responsible, simply because I shall be making too much money to take some time off.

How shall you two deal with your consciences then?

<grinning>

Darlene:

With due respect, you didn't buy Bre-X because you didn't buy Bre-X PERIOD .. no reason matters at this point. Some of the smartest pension fund advisors bought in, the biggest brokers thought nothing of buying this stock. It went from pennies to $280.00 a share then split 10 to 1 .. This company was looked at by Peter Monk, likely the sharpest gold exec alive today .. Bre-X had the highest level connections .. most were of a first class reputation.

If you didn't buy this stock because it really did not pass your tough test, then you my dear should sell your tesing method & make millions.
Most people never thought of Bre-X as a penny stock & when it got over $60 & $100 & then at $200 a share it was the last thing on anyone's mind. It will forever be the biggest hoax .. Billions made & billions lost .. these guys smoked everyone, you are just lucky you didn't buy in, for whatever reasons you want to tell yourself & others today. Personally I never bought this stock becasue I always felt it was too rich for me.

My entire point on Bre-X is this, unless you are well read on the history of this stock, leave it alone. Calling it 'hype' is an understatement .. the fact that the brightest investors on the planet got caught up in the hype is the truly amazing story & that part you are not mentioning. Bre-X is better left buried.

Whether you realize it or not just by camparing these stocks you are hyping BCMD (deserves the hype .. but still hype is hype. CYJ is right there and I am an investor .. let's hope they both really fly.

Mike

Dear Darlene,

Thanks very much for your response. Do you remember MPVIF from a few days ago? Have BCMD properties yielded any findings in regards to diamonds? How do you think this will impact the stock valuation with respect to the findings in the tailings?

Thanks again, Darlene.
